23rd May 2021 Show CANCELLED
The weather has unfortunately forced us to cancel the 23rd May 2021 show. All Pre Entries will roll over to the 13th June 2021. If you cannot attend the 13th June 2021 show please contact Laura who will issue a refund.

Happy New Year to all our Members and Competitors
Plans are underway for the 2021 Show Season, all being well and in the hope the current situation improves significantly.
Sadly, after around 40 years of running Urmston & District Riding Club Mr John Oakes has retired as Club Chairman for his own well being. He will remain the heart of the club and dependent on the Government guidelines he should be able to continue attending the shows as normal. We are sad to see him retire but sincerely hope that he enjoys his time off.
The updated Committee members have been added to the Committee page.
Grazing
The fields and fencing require significant maintenance and so all grazing on the fields will cease on the 12th January 2021 and reopen in April 2021 dependent on the Spring weather.
If you wish to be added to the waitlist for grazing in April 2021 please email with your information and the number of ponies you wish to be added to the fields.
After April 2021 please contact Brian Kilcourse or Paul Smith with your grazing requirements. Their mobile numbers are enclosed on the Committee page. All ponies will require Third Party Insurance at the very minimum.
We will update the page with the new schedule and further information in due course.

UPDATE for the 2021 Show Season
Dear All,
We are extremely excited to announce that preparations are currently underway for the 2021 show season. We confirm the dates of the dates as follows;
25th April 2021
23rd May 2021
13th June 2021
4th July 2021
1st August 2021
19th September 2021
We will also have a fixed date of the 29th August 2021 if any of the shows from April to August will need to be cancelled for what ever reason.
Please update your diaries with these dates.
More announcements to follow with some exciting changes in the next months.
